What is your role at Waterman Lab/CFAES?
I am the Financial Operations Coordinator for Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory, and I support fiscal operations for both the Columbus and Wooster campuses. My work includes managing invoices, purchase orders, inventory tasks, and various operational fiscal processes to help keep both locations running efficiently.
What brought you to The Ohio State University?
I joined Ohio State in 2014 and was drawn to the university for its strong sense of community and the opportunities for growth. Over the years, I've appreciated being part of teams that directly support research, teaching, and operations across the college.
Where is your hometown?
I'm originally from Butlerville, Ohio.
What interested you in your field of study/job area?
I've always enjoyed work that is hands-on, detail-oriented, and essential to daily operations. Fiscal Coordination allows me to combine problem-solving with helping people get what they need to support their work effectively. I like being the person who can track down answers, figure out processes, and make complex tasks run smoothly.
What is an interesting fact about you?
I am section hiking the Appalachian Trail and have completed over 1,000 miles so far.
